PRUShield Trilogy Comic Strip Series

Client: Prudential

Project Title: PRUShield Trilogy Comic Strip Series

Overview

The PRUShield Trilogy was a comic strip series developed by Prudential Singapore in partnership with Click2View. It is descended from a long history of our success at creating animated or illustrated content for Prudential Singapore, and aimed to highlight the value proposition of the PRUShield health insurance plan to Prudential’s One Agency.

Brief

Prudential commissioned a series of three 6-9 frame comic strips/infographics, which would focus on educating agencies on the comprehensive range of PRUShield options, as well as highlight value-added services and partnerships between Prudential and healthcare providers in Singapore.

Each chapter was to focus on a specific aspect of PRUShield:

– Chapter 1: EasySwitch and Supplementary Plans, showcasing the seamless transition to PRUShield and the availability of tailored PRUExtra supplementary plans.

– Chapter 2: Connected Care Proposition, highlighting value-added services and the benefits of Prudential’s partnerships, such as access to panel private hospitals like Raffles Medical Group.

– Chapter 3: Claims Experience, detailing the ease of submitting claims and the advantages of Prudential’s fair claims-based premium pricing, particularly when using panel specialists.

sales of insurance plans, and the potential outcomes.

Our creative team was led by Artur Akhmetzyanov, and developed a visually engaging comic strip series by our art director Radik Zagidullin and iIlustrator Anna Yashina.

Response

The project involved a range of creative services and demanded a high level of creative capability from us. While scripts, storyboards, and illustrations went through several rounds of revisions, no major changes were requested, pointing towards our well-structured and efficient production process that prioritised client satisfaction.

The crisp visuals of the comic allows for easy viewing and understanding of the product’s offerings.

Also, the team showed resourcefulness by successfully deploying a new freelance illustrator, Anna Yashina, who managed to deliver great results while working closely with our in-house art director Radik Zagidullin. This highlighted our ability to identify and manage external creative talent effectively.

We worked closely with the client and the multiple stakeholders involved in approving the comic strips and demonstrated strong project management skills. In particular, our ability to adapt to evolving client needs and timelines proved vital to maintaining a smooth production process. This clearly spoke to our operational efficiency and our team’s abilities to overcome these hurdles.

Outcome

Visual and written illustrations of coverage policy owners stand to benefit
from after being insured with the PRUShield health insurance plan.

The comic strip series was successfully delivered to Prudential, extending the team’s fruitful and rewarding working partnership with Prudential Singapore.
