Project Title: PRUJourney Launch Animated Video

Background

The long-standing partnership between Prudential Singapore and Click2View has seen us produce a wide variety of content ranging from interview videos to manufacturing collateral assets for its Ethics Department. 

This case study examines the Prudential PRUJourney Launch Campaign, which featured a suite of creative assets promoting the capabilities of PRUJourney, Prudential’s revamped financial planning platform designed to replace the existing PRUONE Express (POE) system. 

The primary goal was to support the launch and promote the adoption of this new platform among Prudential’s financial representatives and customers.

Brief

Click2View was tasked with creating a range of static and animated content that effectively communicated the key features and benefits of PRUJourney. The initial scope included static assets such as a key visual, email templates, and a PowerPoint template, as well as a 15-second 3D teaser animation and a 60-second launch animation. 

The success and positive reception of the previous award-winning PRUForce@Pulse video led our client to request something “equally impressive” for PRUJourney, a testament to the client’s confidence in Click2View’s capabilities.

As the project progressed, the scope expanded to include additional assets like a 60-second 2D teaser animation, which was later upgraded to a 3D animation due to the client’s request.

The project was led creatively by our Head of Design and Animation, Artur Akhmetzyanov, with lead animator Ruslan Sergeev, art direction by Radik Zagidullin, and graphic design by Rainhard Susanto

Response 

Click2View assembled a project team with expertise in various creative disciplines, including account management, creative direction, graphic design, and animation. The team leveraged their skills to translate complex UI designs into visually engaging content.

The team faced the challenge of turning numerous UI screens provided by Prudential into “stunning visuals” within the constraints of a 60-second video. They successfully achieved this through creative problem-solving and technical expertise, particularly in 3D animation.

Click2View also demonstrated its commitment to innovation by combining 2D motion with hand-drawn animation in the 2D teaser video, a creative approach that was particularly well-received by the client.

Throughout the project, Click2View maintained a strong client-focused approach, navigating challenges such as timeline shifts. Open, frequent communication ensured that the project stayed aligned with the client’s needs, and this maintained a positive working relationship throughout.

Outcome 

The Prudential PRUJourney Launch campaign culminated in the successful delivery of a suite of creative assets, including:

  • Static assets: Key visual, email templates, and a PowerPoint template.
  • Animated assets: 30-second 3D teaser, 60-second 2D teaser, and a 60-second 3D product launch animation.

The project outcomes were met with positive feedback from Prudential stakeholders. The client expressed satisfaction with the final deliverables, highlighting the impressive quality of the animation videos. 

They were particularly impressed by the high levels of support from our team, and expressed that the collaboration was productive and enjoyable.

This positive reception is further evidenced by Prudential’s interest in collaborating with Click2View on future content ideas, particularly “deeper dive UI user journey explainers and customer POV testimonial videos.”

The PRUJourney videos are considered flagship projects for Click2View’s FY25 and have been submitted for awards, demonstrating the high quality and impact of the work produced.

The Prudential PRUJourney project showcased Click2View’s strengths in creative execution, client management, and adaptability. The project’s success is reflected in the client’s positive feedback, the development of a strong working relationship, and the production of high-quality creative assets that have been recognised within the industry.
