Project Title: 2024 Corporate Social Responsibility Video

Overview

The Click2View team has been creating event content for Deloitte’s Southeast Asia (SEA) Partners’ Conference for the last seven years. Initially only producing their opening and closing videos, our partnership has grown to include the other pieces of video.

This project involved creating a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) video for Deloitte’s 2024 SEA Partners’ Conference. Commissioned by Deloitte, the video aimed to highlight Deloitte’s CSR initiatives to their target audience of senior executives, managing partners, and other key decision-makers within Deloitte SEA.

Brief

Deloitte approached us wanting a 60-90 second video for their 2024 SEA Partners Conference. The objective was to showcase Deloitte’s dedication to making a positive difference in the community, thereby inspiring event participants and reinforcing the brand’s identity and values in them.

The scope of work included delivering one 60-90 second video, which eventually stretched to two minutes in length, utilising a combination of motion graphics and kinetic typography. Our services covered the entire production process:

– Account and Project Management
– Creative Conceptualisation and Art Direction
– Scriptwriting and Sub-editing
– Storyboarding
– Graphic Design, Motion Graphic/Animation
– Royalty-free music
– Sound Design and Audio Mix

Response

The project demanded a high level of creative execution and efficient project management. A key aspect of our approach was our ability to creatively challenge the client. Rather than sticking to Deloitte’s usual approach of telling the story with a photo-based montage with graphic overlays, we proposed to primarily feature kinetic typography with motion graphics, offering innovative visual solutions that push creative boundaries.

One of the primary challenges was distilling significant amounts of information and statistics about Deloitte’s CSR efforts into “short and punchy copy” and “impactful visuals” for two-minutes. Our team excelled in this area; writer Way Lin ensured that the copy effectively and concisely conveyed Deloitte’s impact, and creative lead & motion designer Poch and his team dramatised the information with crisp, eye-catching visuals.

Outcome 

The CSR video was successfully delivered for screening at Deloitte’s 2024 SEA Partners Conference. It met the client’s objectives by effectively highlighting their CSR initiatives to a key internal audience of senior executives and partners, aiming to inspire them and reinforce Deloitte’s values.
