BACKGROUND

Deloitte is a company that provides industry-leading audit and assurance, tax and legal, consulting, financial advisory, and risk advisory services to nearly 90% of the Fortune Global 500 and thousands of private companies.

BRIEF

For their annual 2021 SEA Partners conference, Deloitte approached us to help them craft and produce the opening video. With the theme of “Our Roots of Resilience,” they wanted to show that they can weather any situation, especially given the COVID-19 pandemic, due to its values that resulted in their resilience.    

RESPONSE (incl. links)

We decided to develop a 3D animation showing a tree growing and withstanding all weather and surroundings due to its roots. This is an allegory of Deloitte successfully navigating the challenging COVID-19 pandemic due to its shared values, embodied by all business personnel and business partners across the Southeast Asia region.

It took multiple script and visual revisions to get the “feel” just right, but we managed to develop one that would evoke an emotional reaction and reliability, just what we wanted. We paired this with powerful visuals that conveyed the right messages without requiring additional text that would take attention away. A voiceover accompanies the visuals to add a “punch” and keep audiences engaged for the duration of the video.

OUTCOME

The output video was played at the event to a positive reception by audiences.
