Project Title: Promotional video for “Stress-testing the Coronavirus: Black Swans and Grey Rhinos”
Wolters Kluwer is a global provider of professional information, software solutions, and services for clinicians, accountants, lawyers, and tax, finance, audit, risk, compliance, and regulatory sectors. They run webinars for different industries to help professionals improve the way they do business.
We were contacted to create a 45-60 second webinar promo video to raise awareness about stress-testing solutions from Wolters Kluwer and its importance for financial institutions during black swan or grey rhino events.
With the Covid-19 restrictions, we were unable to obtain footage through live filming. Instead, we had to improvise and eventually decided to make do with stock footage.
The problem with stock footage, however, is that it could look stiff and unnatural. But with some quick thinking, we managed to find a way around this using kinetic typography and graphics overlay.
The end result? A dynamic webinar promo video that drives traffic to the landing page of the webinar recording for lead generation.
The video was used to successfully drive awareness and leads for the webinar. It was also localised for the EMEA region.
In these uncertain times where we may not have the luxury of physical shooting anytime soon, this project has helped us realise how viable stock footage can be. With powerful editing work to give it that extra little touch, it’ll be hard to tell the difference.
